At the end of November, County Mulch donated a large quantity of locally produced bark mulch to a charitable project that helped transform the garden at Beccles Children’s Home in Suffolk.
On Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November, staff from Suffolk County Council took part in a Ground Force style makeover at the home, turning its outdoor space into a safer, more enjoyable environment for the children that stay there.
County Mulch GreentopTM Woodland Mulch, which is produced at the parent company Greenview Environmental’s composting centres across the region, was just one of a number of items donated to the project by local firms.
John Jardine, CEO of Greenview Environmental said: “We are pleased to support staff from the County Council and delighted our bark mulch is being put to such good use at Beccles Children’s Home.”
