Braithwaite Park, London, E14
Working with London Borough of Tower Hamlets, Charity 'Trees for Cities' transformed an otherwise plain open space with the planting over 3000 shrubs and perennials and 16 trees. Trees for Cities was joined by children from Culloden Primary School who got their hands dirty to help with the planting and the whole project was celebrated in a community planting event, where over 350 local residents and Trees for Cities volunteers joined in the fun with live music, football, arts & crafts and, of course, planting.
All mulch was supplied by County Mulch.
